Wednesday Walking

 Posted by LP

Photo - large jars of honey on (delicious) breakfast buffet
Photo - sun rising….as we climbed a very steep hill
Photo - monument regarding 1936 (and the rise of fascism in Europe)
Photo - we walked through forest (nice and soft under our feet) - clearly the forest is managed for lumber
Photo - heather growing alongside path
Photo - folk art in forest clearing - we remember it from 3 years ago
Photo - arrow made by rocks - must be very energetic hikers who have the time to move around rocks
Photo - the church at St Juan de Ortega - what you cannot see in the photo is the cafe where we enjoyed some nice hot tea to revive us from the wet and windy hike 💚

  1. I hope you enjoyed some of that beautiful honey in your morning tea LP. ~“Why isn't there the smell of heather in your hair?”
