We walked about 14 miles (7.30am to 2pm)

It is 2.30 ish local time, we’ve reached our destination - we are in the cafe on the town square, beers in hand, pizza ordered…..we are feeling proud of ourselves :)

As yet, I have not even looked at the photos I’ve taken today, but let me post a few and see what we’ve got!?!

Photo - chestnuts - we passed by quite a few yesterday and today
Photo - VQT and LP with Emma from New Zealand at our cafe break this morning (FYI, her foot problems are improving)
Photo - statue of “old fashioned” pilgrim in a town called Villamayor de Monjardin (the highest elevation today of 675 meters)
Photo - food truck (we had ice cream) in the middle of nowhere (great entrepreneurial skills around here), it was very popular
Photo - VQT with Claire (sp?) from Somerset and Sharon from Texas at Food Truck cafe
Photo - great green barn door as we enter our destination city of Los Arcos….it is possible that I posted this photo before (3 years ago?)

It was a good day on the Camino, very warm and sunny this afternoon, but we made good time with 6 hours of walking and some very entertaining rest stops 💚

  1. Love “meeting “ your fellow travelers. And I agree. You probably took that same picture of the green door!

  2. Ooh. Ice cream AND a green door. Seems like a thoroughly fulfilling day.
