The story goes (and this will be brief), a family of pilgrims passed through what is now know as Santa Domingo - the young man of the group was accused of thieving and sentenced to death - after some time time the other pilgrims returned and found the young man still alive while hanging - they told the top man in the city and he laughed at them saying, “the man is no more alive than this chicken on my plate!” - immediately the chicken flew up and off the table…..a miracle! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’š

Added later in the day - this fancy blog tells the story with more interesting details

  1. At last! That’s an egg-straordinary story! And an important lesson… don’t count your chickens before they hatch! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฃ

  2. Diane beat me to the punchline. It is an egg-cellent story. Not sure why football team would want to be the chickens. Wonder what their record is?
