It’s been a chillier, dull and damp-ish day (no real rain as such)….and we kept walking, and walking, and walking!

Photo - graffiti = “I can see you” - even though we are walking through the countryside, we have these moments next to concrete as underpasses have been created to separate the Camino from roads
Photo - first (and only breakfast) at food truck - there was a queue of hikers ready for tea, coffee, (fresh squeezed) orange juice, pastries, etc
Photo - mural near food truck….only 564 kms to Santiago
Photo - stained glass window in church - it is a bit difficult to see, it’s a blue Camino shell and yellow Camino arrow
Photo - hikers on the Camino seen way into the distance
Photo - modern hiker statue with ancient cross behind
Photo - I’ve spared you many photos of green doors, but I could not resist a green bench with pots of flowers - the words on the bench translate to Catholic Circle Savings Bank
Photo - VQT taking photo in very ornate church
Photo - garden using painted bicycle spokes for vine growing plants
Photo - mural on side of restaurant where we enjoyed a Pilgrim’s meal (3 courses and a bottle of wine for 17 euros each….hard to beat that value) - the name is La Huella del Camino (the Fingerprint of the Camino?)

Just let me know if you would like to see any more green doors, I have plenty of photos to share πŸ’š

  1. Bring on the green doors!! It wouldn't be the Camino Tales without them!

  5. I am more interested in your meal options. What kind of pastries did they have? What is a “pilgrim meal?”
