I’m wide awake in the middle of the night……

…….one of the quieter things I can do is post some more photos - posted by LP

Photo - VQT outside shop/cafe in a small village all on the steep uphill - it can sell you almost anything hikers could wish for
Photo - VQT on the path leading up to the wind generators and statue of ancient pilgrims (with lovely blue sky)
Photo - we often see stones such as these with photos or painting to celebrate the life of a (clearly loved) departed family member or friend - this rock has a photo and painted flowers and hearts
Photo - this stone is painted in Camino colours of blue and yellow and has the birth and death dates - stones are really meaningful when you realise they has to be carried many miles
Photo - water tap in the style of a duck, or maybe mythic animal, seen in middle of a town we walked through - it is relatively easy to fill up our water bottles
Photo - lots of sedums with rocks painted like lady birds/bugs in large trough under window
Photo - same town, different painted rocks…..many of them green!💚
Photo - actually not a great photo, but these are the first chickens we saw (did hear some previously) 🐓

Wherever you are, whatever the time of day or night, whatever you are doing, we appreciate you popping by to take a look at our (not very fancy) but created with love, blog

  1. So many things to look at and think about. Looks like it was a successful first day.
