Arrived - Santo Domingo

 Posted by VQT

Eating lunch.  Salad, fried eggs & French fries, cheesecake for me and fruit for LP.  And of course beer.  We were ready for food!

Miles and miles of  gravel roads.

Leaving Najera before daybreak.  Church spire.

Gravel road heading out of Najera.

Sunrise.

Beautiful restored house near our first and only breakfast stop this morning - about 4 miles from Najera.

Window on dilapidated house just doors away from the house in the prior photo.

Scenic view - morning sky.

I’m obsessed by these hay bale stacks.  Look hard - LP is in the middle to show just how massive these stacks are.

Santo Domingo in the distance.

  4. The Najera photo looks like a painting. The lighting is awesome! And that hay bale stack is huge! Love seeing all the photos.
