A day on the Camino

Some pilgrims spend all their energy getting through the day - one step after another. Then there are some pilgrims who have too much energy or time and get creative.
A sunflower with a smiley face.A sunflower with a scary face.
Obviously people stopped and took the time to remove seeds to create these faces. I only stopped to photograph and quickly moved on.
Today’s walk was almost all on gravel roads. It was misty at times but not heavy enough for us to put on pack covers or raincoats. Found a great restaurant and had a late lunch or early dinner.
Fabulous day - thanks for sharing these pics - love the hay bales
ReplyDeleteI think I need to read up on hay bale construction. And possibly on sunflower portrait art.

Love the fall colors and the sunflower art. Have you seen many Goldfinches in the sunflower fields. Definitely looks like the are ahead of us in the fall season.
ReplyDeleteKeep these wonderful photos and stories coming.

I wondered how they stacked the hay bales so high. Hope your feet are holding up on the gravel.
ReplyDeleteLove the sunflower faces. Very clever.
