48 hours behind VQT

 Posted by LP

I started coughing yesterday, by the time we went to bed it was clear I have whatever VQT is experiencing (although she is well on the road to recovery) - rest, liquids and Spanish pharmaceuticals are proving expeditious - we will play things by ear…..although plan B is still a plan

Even though we are not in 100% health we are still enjoying the Camino and the people, sights and adventures along the way - here are a few photos from our visit to Leon

Photo - VQT reading information about Leon’s ancient city wall - the old wall and relatively new houses opposite stretch out behind her
Photo - a garage door painted as though it is a stained glass window
Photo - intricate circular design on old building’s metal security shutters
Photo - VQT and others browsing an antique and vintage market
Photo - mural of a pilgrim “of old”
Photo - High School brass band playing as we walked through a city square
Photo - a small green door 💚
Photo - statue of old style pilgrim resting with his sandals off his feet (similar to many new style pilgrims who remove footwear when possible!)
Photo - VQT with woman who stopped her car to give her a straw hat to shield her from the midday sun (VQT does have a hat but wasn’t wearing it at that time)

  1. Oh no! Sorry to hear that you’re under the weather too LP. Don’t overdo! Love the hat VQT!
