We have seen lots

Posted by LP - we have seen cows, sheep, horses, ponies, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, cats, dogs, plus reptiles, insects and birds of every description (and beyond my capabilities to identify) - we have seen surfers, cyclists, walkers, churches, farms, villages, towns, cities, beaches, rivers, woods, paths, roads, cafes, camp grounds, posh houses, modest homes - all this in one day! - today we have not seen blue skies (overcast and potential rain), not seen enough green doors, not seen many signs to distinguish the Camino (frustrating, but we didn’t get far off track) and not seen many other pilgrims (very different from our previous experiences on the Camino) - have not yet reached our Camino “stride,” none-the-less we had a successful day - left at 7.15am and arrived 4.30pm, took several breaks - did not get rained on (looked like we might) - did get blown about on the coastal path for the last hour or so - ready to enjoy a drink “to take the edge off” the day 😃

This little church was open for pilgrims to stamp their pilgrim’s passports
Cow scratching it’s neck on a rock
We saw many fig trees, but the ripe fruit was out of our reach
Lots of pampas grass along the coastal path
A display squash on ladders
Only saw one green door all day
Surfers in the Bay of Biscay (all surfers were in wet suits)

A Wet Day

It’s all good until it isn’t and then it’s good again.
