Sept 16. For real?

 Posted by VQT

Todays walk.  Over 1,000 meter ascent.  700 meter descent.  And 27 km or 16 to 17 miles.

We have loaded down transport bags to lighten our packs.   There are no cafes or bars so must carry extra water, snacks and lunch.

This is one of the most demanding walks on any Camino route.

A drawing from Jean Francois showing a pilgrim meal.
He had a small sketchbook of drawings.

Last night’s sunset.

  2. Your elevation gain challenges that of the Appalachian Trail in New Hampshire. I'm exhausted just looking at your map. The sunset photo could be a painting! Gorgeous!!
