Up, Down and All Around

 Posted by VT.

Many long uphills.  And what goes up must come down  - the downhills are sometimes worse than the uphills. Many miles in the woods.
View of ocean from hilltop.  Morning started off misty with very light rain.
Waterfall in the woods.  Thankful that it was shady in the woods.
Statue of a girl riding a dragon with a seagull stowaway.
Stopped for a rest - aka beer time.  Met up with Camino friends.  3 from Ireland, 1 from The Netherlands, and the young women from Lithuania.

We thought we’d arrive at our hotel in Vigo by 2:30 and after walking every street in the City we arrived at 4:30.  Somehow we keep getting off the Camino and rely on GPS which does get us to our destination just not always on the Camino route.  But, it’s not cheating - we are walking every step (plus many more) from point A to point B.

At laundromat.  No sorting by colors or fabrics for our Camino attire.  It all goes in 1 load.

Passed a vegetarian restaurant - hopefully after laundry is finished we can find the restaurant and have a great dinner.

  3. Great pictures/ Sorry to hear about your blisters which are no fun on a long hike. Looks like you are about two-thirds of the way there already. Walk on!
PS.... we will miss you at bridge today.
