The dogs are out.

Posted by VT

We have posted photos of horses, sheep, chickens, and goats.  People have asked us why we haven’t posted dog photos.  Well…it’s hard.  A lot of the dogs we see are behind fences and many are in motion - it’s hard to get out our phones, power them on and get a photo.  Several times we’ve asked owners if we can take a photo of their dog - they look at us with disbelief or alarm because we must be daft or crazy.  But, we have succeeded a few times.  Enjoy.

We walked by a facility for dog boarding   The wall had the best drawings on it.

VQT petting a little brown dog.  Every time I stopped petting it the dog barked begging for more pets.

Gotta love the ears on this little dog.  One up and one down.

This little fella was trotting happily down the road.  We’ve been amazed by how many dogs we’ve seen off leash and how well behaved the dogs are.

A little fluffy white dog.

Met a woman with these red & white attired greyhounds. She was happy to allow us to photograph them.

Love the speckled ears on this dog.  He would not get near us.

This is the brown dog that loved to be petted.  Adorable sweet dog.

Oops - it’s a frog.  We have been serenaded by frogs many times.  Finally got a photo of one.

Another cute fluffy dog.

LP petting a small black dog.  The owner of the dog called him, “my grand companion”.

We have seen so many dogs of unknown origin.  All look healthy and loved and most live in beautiful gardens.

  3. Thank you for all the dog pics. I showed them to Mindy, who was a bit jealous of that whole "off leash" thing.
