Bom Dia (Good Day)

 Posted by LP

Here are a few photos I would have posted last night if I had not been so exhausted (photos primarily taken in the morning before heat and mileage took their toll) - now fortified by sleep and the anticipation of first breakfast:

We passed this beautifully maintained cemetery - people were there with brushes and mops shining the marble
Agapanthus flowering in front of huge agave
VQT making foot wear adjustment - with the sand and sea behind her
Unknown sedum flowers on the dunes between path and beach
VQT and LP with the charming host of Cafe Sport - the last break of the day for us and other Camino hikers (we were all desperate for sustenance and rest!)
Not sure of the name of this red flowering trees (often along the roads as we walk through the larger towns) - bees love them 🐝
Forsythia tied the the handle of a front door - apparently it is the tradition (often anonymously) to do this on the first day of May to celebrate spring
Wonderful fuchsia growing in many front gardens
Another unnamed plant with vibrant colour (dark purple) on the dunes
Letter/post box in the shape of a house - saw many of these, in a variety of styles
