A bittersweet Day

 Posted by VT

Yesterday we took a group photo and said farewell to R from Ireland.  Today L from Belfast and S from The Netherlands arrived so we took another photo at the Cathedral.

Look at how fortunate we are in this photo.  No one is around us.  It’s like we had the plaza to ourselves.

Earlier we met for lunch.

Lunch with the group.

A toast to all.

We said goodbye to the lovely incredible Lithuanian women.  There were teary eyes.

Tomorrow all of us part ways.  Some will head home or onto other travel destinations.  LP & I will once again be walking - Finisterre is our goal.  Fortunately there’s a WhatsApp group - No Vino, No Camino.  Everyone has promised to post.

LP and VT with ice cream.  A perfect way to end the afternoon.

  1. Another Camino accomplished, you two are an inspiration. How lovely to have a group lunch to celebrate the achievement and new friends. Buen Camino de Finisterre! JK
