200 miles, 14 days of walking, 63 blog posts and experiences beyond measure!

We love to share our photos, I would also like to share so much else…..sights, sounds, feelings and thoughts that don’t translate into blog posts so easily - as we walk we hear birdsong all day long (I’ve seen goldfinches, wag tails, etc), there are insects everywhere (butterflies of many styles, bumble and honey bees), flora and fauna of all description (lots of colorful blooms in gardens and growing wild), greetings from locals and other walkers, the joy of seeing a cafe just when we need the rest and sustenance, the comradeship with other walkers (people of all types sharing a goal), the privilege of the opportunity to walk the Camino, being out doors (without the barrier of a vehicle)….so much delight!

A cat asleep in the sunshine in the outdoor cafe we stopped for lunch
VQT at the 5km marker to Santiago
A green door….this time with a twist as it is a photo of the INSIDE of a door (of a church)
Part of a mural of dogs….this little dog with large ears and attitude reminded me of a certain scruffy dog called Esme
The domed ceiling of a church
A falling down green door
VQT taking a photo (you must agree she is a prolific and skilled photographer!)
A man feeding his goats with ivy (there must have been a dozen goats including babies)
A falling down green door with bright blooms alongside

Some of the aforementioned goats 🐐

Thank you for reading this blog 💚

the privilege of the opportunity to walk the Camino…..and so much more - here are a few photos:
