El Camino “Boot Camp”
Photo one = decoration outside a hostel (pale blue watering can with plant on dark blue shelf hanging on a dark yellow wall)
Photo two = a very small building (with a green door) in the middle of nowhere, contrasting with bright blue sky and verdant field
Photo three = one of the many old and wonderful (and green painted) doors we pass as we hike through towns and villages
Photo four = plants in pots around the sign for the village of Villambista (where we enjoyed a cup of tea and banana sitting in the sunshine towards the end of our hiking today)
Photo five = VQT with drink purchased from a cold drinks machine…..the only thing open for the first 6 miles we hiked today!
Posted by LP - we have been hiking every day for two weeks, we probably should be cautious about saying this, but I think we are in our stride (we feel like we have been through boot camp with the hiking and conditions have been experiencing) - we will find out for certain when we have 3 consecutive days of long mileages in a couple of days from now, in the meantime, we are enjoying the sunshine, the people and places…….and the walking
Hurray! Good to hear you’ve hit your stride.
ReplyDeleteand enjoying a cold coca-cola to boot.
ReplyDeleteThat door in the field goes to Narnia, no doubt. Good thing you did not enter or you would be having a different adventure! Hitting your stride is awesome!
