Casa de Cura

 Posted by VQT

Booking accommodations is always a surprise.  This is my favorite place we’ve stayed, but it’s a close call with our first nights stay in St Jean Pied du Port.

Family photos.
Table top is a cereal sorting board.  I couldn’t follow the description the owner was telling us.  I’ll try to find out more.  Anyway it’s fantastic.
Knitted skirt and photo of relative that knitted it.
Exterior.  It was a priests home.
Another knitted piece and photo.  It was worn as an undergarment.
Close up of cereal sorting board.
More family photos.

The owner is the most charming gracious person you can image.

We feel so lucky and privileged to be staying here.
