All is well that ends well

Posted by LP - we did a daft thing, we booked our accommodation in the wrong place, 6 hours drive in the wrong direction! - on reflection, an easy mistake to make when booking on our phone (and, as it turns out, with our limited knowledge of Spanish geography)…..both towns are called Linares - when this fact came to our attention, we had been walking all day, most of it uphill and the last part in the rain - we took shelter in the local grocery shop/coffee shop/bar - we cancelled our original reservation, booked another place for the night, ordered a taxi to take us there, but for the last part, Sophia came to our rescue - she knows the organizer of the transportation company we use to carry our duffle bag from stop to stop, so she finds out where our bag has been all day (at the local hostel) and helps us reunite with our dry and warm clothing……and it does not just end well, it ends better:
