What a difference a day makes
Posted by LP. There is no comparison…. today’s weather made everything better - we did have some gradients, but nothing like yesterday, just a tricky decent for the last hour or so, slick rocks, steep and slippery - one of the great things today is that we stopped hiking south and turned the corner to hike west….across the north of Spain to Santiago
These are the the Camino signs (yellow scallop shells on a blue background, all along the trail), easier to spot in today’s good weatherThis is our “elevenses “ (morning snack)….tea and an orange, about 2 hours after we set out at 8 am this morning
This is our afternoon break = a banana from a roadside “food truck” as the trail crossed a road (VTQ ordering our snack)
VQT and LP enjoying a small beer at lunchtime (beautiful countryside behind us)
LP walking trail with moss covered stacked stone alongside
LP and VQT beneath pollarded trees forming an arbor = very popular around here
Thank you to everyone who posted a comment or sent us a message of support and encouragement, we really appreciate you taking the time to do so
